SEC Event Intelligence is live

Evidence-linked business events from SEC filings — classified, quoted, and cited — for the companies you track.

SEC Event Intelligence is live on the Apify Store. Pay per event: US$0.008 per event returned (event). A run that returns nothing costs nothing beyond Apify's minimal compute.

What changed

  • 2026-09-14 PRIVATE_TEST→LISTING_READY (Clance)
  • 2026-09-14 LISTING_READY→PUBLIC (Clance)
  • 2026-09-14 PUBLIC→OBSERVING

What we learned

  • The Store gate is real and mechanical. Our own listing checklist ran 21 checks; the last two to clear were the Console pricing (set through the Actor API, not by hand) and a new Apify requirement we had not modelled — an output schema naming the dataset and the run summary — which forced one more build (0.1.5) before publication.
  • Publishing is a legal act before it is a technical one: the API refuses isPublic until the account owner has accepted the Store terms in the Console. Nothing automates that, and nothing should.
  • The public Store record answers without a token the moment an Actor is public, so the Monday pull needed no change: its first row landed within a minute of publication (2 users, 4 runs — all ours, from the private test).
  • The event price is US$0.008. The floors in the ledger (20 users, 45 days, 90 days) decide when the Store row means anything.

What we do next

Observe. The rules refuse a reading until 20 Store users and 45 days; until then the Monday post carries Store users and paying users, and nothing is scaled or paused on a hunch. Distribution is the only work: the launch post, answers where the question is already asked, the listing itself.

BuildOn Marketplaces has no commercial relationship with Apify. Store figures are read from the public Store; revenue figures from our own Console; the reading from our published decision rules.
